Electric towel rails for bathroom installation must be fitted by a certified electrician and are not designed as DIY products. Bathroom heating appliances must be hardwired into a fused spur to ensure safe operation. If installing in Zone 1 or Zone 2 in a bathroom, your towel rails must carry an IP rating of at least IPX4.
