We do not recommend installing electric radiators or electric heaters in bathrooms – even if they have a suitable IP rating – because most models cannot be used for towel drying. The majority of electric heaters have integrated thermostats and ventilation which needs to be kept clear to prevent the appliance from overheating. An electric towel rail will provide a more practical heating method in most situations.
Before installing any bathroom heating solution, you will need to make sure that it has an appropriate IP rating for its intended zone. Always defer to the manufacturer’s guidelines regarding a product’s suitability for bathroom installation.
